The Center for Story at Shenandoah will continue its speaker series on Wednesday, Feb 11, from 4–5 p.m. in the Hazel-Pruitt Armory, Collaboratory with “What’s the Story: Artistry & Advocacy” featuring local author and professor Hannah Grieco. Center for Story Director Sean Murphy will lead the conversation, which will explore the challenges and opportunities of building a creative career, the responsibilities of public advocacy, AI in the classroom, balancing jobs, family, and publishing--and more! Grieco, whose work has appeared in numerous outlets, released her Pushcart nominated collection First Kicking, Then Not in 2025, is both a case study and ceaseless inspiration for carving out a creative life--by any means necessary.
