Winchester Swing Dance Lessons and Social Dancing

Event Description:
Dust off your dancing shoes and learn something new! Swing dance is a type of dance that was popular in the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, and has expanded over the years to include a wide range of dances, such as Lindy Hop, Charleston, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Shag, Foxtrot, Balboa, etc. You are invited to join us for a beginner swing dance lesson (7-7:30 pm), followed by open social dancing (7:30-9 pm). We dance to a mix of vintage and modern music. No partner or experience required! Adults 18 yrs or older only. Shenandoah University students, staff, and faculty are free (please show school ID).
