Community Adaptive Dance

Event Description:

Join us at Shenandoah University for bi-monthly adaptive dance! Anyone with mobility challenges who wants to move to a variety of music and enjoy the camaraderie of others in a safe environment is welcome to participate in this new community adaptive dance program. Adaptive dance is done in sitting or standing with or without assistance. Come on your own or with a friend/caregiver. Tuesday: Oct 8, Nov 5. 2-3:30, Shingleton 7. Dec 10 TBD. Saturday: Oct 26, 2-3:30, Shingleton 7. Nov 23 TBD. There is no cost for this program, however a pay-what-you-will (up to $10/couple, $5/individual) goes to the dance instructor.
